As a Burntsand consultant, you will be involved in designing and delivering quality EMC/Documentum Content Management solutions to a variety of clients. Your duties will include interacting with user, business and executive groups to help define the client's needs and translating those needs into a solution of value. As a partner to our client's we do what is necessary to help them be a success. This trait is one of the single most important characteristics you bring to the job as well as a great attitude toward teamwork and superb technical ability.

General Experience:

  • Minimum 3-5 years experience with Documentum. Direct experience with version 5 required. 4i experience is a plus (mainly as proof of longevity with the product).
  • Minimum 5-7 years overall technical experience, in positions of increasing responsibility
  • Proven ability to architect & design solutions based on Documentum
  • Ability to guide a technical team (including client personnel)
  • Willingness to "get his/her hands dirty", participating in development and implementation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Specific Experience:

  • Digital Asset Management (DAM), Records Manager, or Compliance Manager (DCM) all pluses.
  • Direct eRoom implementation skills a huge plus
  • eContentServer configuration and customization [required]: Object Types, Document Lifecycles, Workflows, Security (Permission Set Templates, Alias Sets), Jobs, Methods
  • WebTop customization [preferred]
  • WCM / WebPublisher configuration and customization [plus]: templates (rules & presentation), WebCache
  • Java architecture skills preferred

Soft Skills:

  • Diplomatic (all great consultants display this trait)
  • Technically adept (you have current skills and are able to deploy them across a variety of projects and solutions)
  • Communication (you can converse with customer and team members of all levels)
  • Committed (to your customer, your team and your project)
