SharePoint Architect

Due to our success in delivering high quality Microsoft technology solutions to our clients, Burntsand is expanding its Microsoft Practice in New England. Your duties will include interacting with user, business and executive groups to help define the client's needs and translating those needs into a solution of value. As a partner to our client's we do what is necessary to help them be a success. General Experience:
• Microsoft Centric Projects - 4+ years
• Overall development experience - 6+ years
• Experience with .NET servers and tools required
• Prior consulting / contracting experience
• Web site design and development experience in a Microsoft environment

Specific Experience:
• Solid understanding of Microsoft IW principles including supporting technologies such as SharePoint Technologies (Windows SharePoint Services v2 & v3, SharePoint Portal Server 2003, Office SharePoint Server 2007, Office System, InfoPath and Forms Services,
• Sharepoint development experience required: e.g. development of custom Web Parts, CAML customization.
• Experience with using WSS (Windows SharePoint Services) sites in conjunction with SPS (SharePoint Portal Server) preferred.
• Experience configuring “complex” security requirements for SharePoint preferred.
• Familiarity with SharePoint Web Services.
Responsibilities
• SharePoint Design - Consults with customers to identify SharePoint requirements.
• Designs and configures SharePoint installations.
• Develops and implements workflow solutions based on Windows Workflow engine
• Develops and implements InfoPath forms / Form Server solutions
• .NET development within the SharePoint framework.
