Smoky was rescued from the beach in Nahant during the winter. A kind woman who had been feeding her and trying to trap her, noticed that her left paw was swollen and bloody. She brought her to a vet when she finally caught her and had her all fixed up. She could not keep her, but found Melrose Humane Society and we knew we could find her a new, forever home. She is a sweet cat who has been spayed, is up-to-date on her vaccines and Neg for Felv/Fiv. She gets along well with other cats, tolerates dogs and is very personable. You can visit her at the PetSmart in Saugus on Saturday or Sunday from 9 - 1...
