BARTON: Male-Shorthaired White with Grey Bi-Color. Approx: 7 weeks. Here’s what Barton told us: “I was born with a few problems. No one even knew what it was that had happened to me, but, when I went to the vets-they found out. I was born with no ball on the top of my rear leg. It’s pretty much bone on bone. So, when I do just about anything, I am in pain. Sometimes I try to hide it, but when I move just right, I will scream. My personality, and my love of life hasn’t changed at all though. I still run crazy, play and rough house with the big boys, and enjoy all the usual kitten craziness. Pretty soon, I will need surgery, and it sounds like I will have to have my leg amputated. Whatever happens, I’m okay and will deal with it. Life is still fun, and I want to have the time of my life-whether it’s on four legs or three.  So, watch for the rest of my news and follow along to see how I do. Once over the next hurdle, it can only get better. Losing a leg will not effect my personality, or stop my purr from purring.” READY TO TAKE ON THE WORLD BARTON
