One of our volunteers was leaving a concert one night when she spotted a homeless man with a 6 week old kitten on his shoulder that he was selling. The volunteer paid the man and scooped up the kitten. The poor little thing was was skinny, flea-infested and had an upper respiratory infection. When they got to the car, the volunteer wrapped the kitten in a sweatshirt and, happy to be warm, slept all the way home. Sarah is now a sweet, friendly and happy girl with a pair of the biggest, saddest, most lovely golden eyes you will ever see. A single glance from these eyes will make you forget to be stressed out by the world. Behind those eyes is the heart of a cat that truly enjoys being loved. Her petite size makes her a perfect fit for anyone's lap. She also loves to snuggle with you on a cold winter's night. Sarah is on a special diet and daily medication. She would like to be your only kitty or with no more than one other cat, preferably male. Sarah is a 3 year old brown tiger.
