Dr. Sheila Yocheved Katz of Nishmat Hayyim: Breath of Life Jewish Meditation Collaborative of New England will be offering a 4 week course at Mayyim Hayyim, Community Mikvah & Education Center, 1838 Washington Street, Newton on Thursday evenings at 7 pm from Oct 8th – 29th. The Torah overflows with teachings on meditation; Genesis abounds with stories that undergird contemplative practice. Cheshvan is a time to live out the soul's experience of the High Holidays in daily life. When we become overwhelmed, we can reconnect to the Source of All Being through the practice of chant and silence.
