Poodle - Small - Adult - Female - Dog - Angel - HELP Neede

Angel needs your help. Angel is a 7 year old pure white Mini Poodle, 12lbs and is just the sweetest, sweetest girl. Angel has hypothyroidism and is being treated for that by a simple inexpensive pill given twice daily, which costs $10 a month. One of the side effects of hypothyroidism is chronic dry eye and this is what Angel has. Dry eye is an extremely painful condition and cannot always be got under control. Angel does not produce any tears at all so we have been manually keeping her eyes lubricated and clear of infection, ulcers and scaring by consistently and constantly applying medication orally and in her eyes. We have been treating her for several months now and seeing an ophthalmologist on a regular basis but unfortunately we are not getting the result she needs which is for her to be pain free and be able to live without the constant administration of ointments and antibiotics. So we have come to a very informed decision along with the ophthalmologist that we need to operate on her to give her a chance at a normal life. The operation she requires is to take two of her saliva glands and bypass it to become her tear ducts, we would do this for both eyes. This is an expensive operation but one we must do to save her sight and quality of life. Therefore we are hoping that our past supporters and all you wonderful caring people out there will donate funds for her to be able to have this operation. Please help us, anyone who knows our rescue and how we work knows how hard we work at saving these Poodles and making their future life perfect. Angel is a wonderful Poodle and she deserves to have a great life pain free. If you would like to be an Angel for Angel, whatever you can donate will be much appreciated.
