Napoleons adoption fell through so he is available for adoption About Napoleon, (Nick name, Nappy Noodle) Nappy is just the sweetest, sweetest little boy he loves everyone and everything, he is calm, easy going and laid back, loves to snuggle and nuzzle you, he is just so grateful to be happy and healthy. He loves toys and carrying them around, he wants to know where you are and will gravitate to each room you move to, but not in an overly needy fashion he just wants to be close in case you need a quick snuggle, in between laundry loads. Nappy also loves other dogs and needs at least one to love and bond with, he wants to share a bed and a kiss and snuggle with another dog and we will only adopt him to a home with a like minded dog, who will accept him. Napoleon is a white, 3 year old 8lb Toy Poodle, because of his history though we have decided to place him locally in state. He is housebroken and knows some commands. When Napoleon was vetted, it was noticed that his left back leg was a little shorter and under x-ray was found to have had an old fracture of his pelvis and leg that probably happened during his birth and had fused back together, by itself, Nappy walks normally and you would not be able to tell but every now and again when he runs he lifts it up or skips. We have had him evaluated by our orthodpedic surgeon and he does not feel anything is needed to be done. The perfect home would be with someone who has another little laid back doggie so he has company as he loves other dogs and would be lonely as an only child. So we are only going to consider homes that have another dog of a laid back nature that is the same size as Napoleon, no puppies please. Having someone around during the day also would be the best situation as he loves human contact and wants to be in your lap if you decide to sit. He also loves to ride in the car. He curls right up to you in bed at night and sits watching T.V. on the couch with you. We just cannot say enough nice things about Nappy Noodle. Requirements to adopt Napoleon Live in the state of Massachusetts Be home for most of the day Have a second same size/age dog for company and bonding. Poodles need to go to a professional groomer every 6-8 weeks at a cost of about $45, so please factor that into the costs associated with dog ownership.
