Hello everyone! My name is Sadie. I am approximately 8-9 years old. I am looking for a loving family that will let me live with them for the rest of my life. I am very tired of moving around. When I first came into rescue in 2004 I had been at two homes already. I was fostered by a nice lady in Louisville and then adopted. In 2006 my adoptive mom contacted the rescue stating she was moving and could no longer keep me. I went back into rescue with a new foster home. I did get adopted again in 2006. Two weeks ago I was picked up as a stray and taken to animal control. After being there 8 days, they decided to check me for a microchip (I am not sure why they didnt do this on the first day!). The animal control found out that I came from Louisville Weim Rescue and contacted them. My previous foster parents came to get me right away. I was so happy! I am currently lying on the couch sleeping and dreaming of a family of my own. I am spayed, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and on preventative, and also on flea/tick preventative. I do have one issue. I have an incontinence issue. Older female dogs sometimes get this. I take a pill every other day to control this. It is not expensive. I am left out in the house while my foster parents are at work. I am living with other dogs right now and doing well. I did sniff a cat while outside and did not have any interest in him. However, I did chase some inside a house. I love to ride in the car. I just lie down and sleep. I am very good with people and children. I do like to touch you and will give you my paw to hold. My jaws are saggier than other Weims so I tend to drool more when drinking water, but my sweet personality makes up for that! I know how to use a doggie door and I love the water.
