Corgi - Medium - Young - Male - Dog - Duke

My foster daddy named me Duke, because I have such a majestic - royal look about me. If you haven't noticed, I have one blue eye and the other one is brown. They think my background is Australian Shepard and Corgi ..... a low-rider! My coat is nice and shiny but this was not the case at first. A nice fireman saved me from going to a high kill animal control where few dogs find homes. Then he asked my foster dad if he had room for just one more. There are so many other dogs at that animal control and most never make it out. Thank goodness for rescues!!!!! My skin was in horrible shape and I hurt all over. They took me to the vet, gave me medicated baths(those were fun) and told me in no time I would be absolutely handsome. They were right. I am now ready for my new family. I have been really treated swell here but I need a real home and a family to call my own. Will that be you? Duke is approx. 8 mos. old and weighs 35-40lbs. Neutered and fully vaccinated. Our dogs are placed into foster homes in New England and Georgia. They are sometimes boarded in our local Veterinary Clinics or private boarding facilities. All puppies will have age appropriate health care including a minimum of (2) Distemper/Parvo vaccinations, Bordetella (Kennel Cough) and de-wormed. If old enough they will be spayed or neutered, vaccinated for Rabies and tested for heartworm diasease. All dogs transported to their new homes will have a Health Exam by a Veterinarian with a fecal test performed. They must pass their exams to be issued a Health Certificate for travel. All dogs are transported by a USDA licensed company in a climate controlled vehicle. Adoption fee is $375 regardless if pet is adopted locally or out of state. We are happy to provide our vet references upon request!
