Yellow Labrador Retriever - Medium - Young - Female - Dog - Opal

Opal is truly a precious gem! She is apporx. 16 mos. old and is looking for a special companion or family who will stand by her and love her forever. She is a very affectionate girl and loves her foster daddy and mom very much. When it was discovered that Opal would require a special dog food, her first family decided they no longer wanted to keep her. She is on a special diet (Science Diet, k/d) and on a blood pressure medicine that will keep her kidneys functioning properly. So far so good, and as you can see in her photos and video, she is feeling wonderful and is doing marvelously! As much as her foster mom loves her, she knows that Opal would have a better life with someone who doesn't have to share their time with other foster dogs. Our dogs are in foster homes in New England and in GA, and sometimes in our vet offices or private boarding. All puppies will have age appropriate vetting including a minimal of (2) distemper/parvo vaccines, bordatella, worming, and spayed or neutered if old enough. All dogs transported to their new homes will have a fecal included in their exam for a Health Certificate. All dogs are transported by a USDA licensed company in a climate controlled vehicle. Adoption fee is $375 regardless if pet is adopted locally or out of state.
