Our Happy is the Alpha Male cog in a four pack of beautiful Eskies from Vermont. Happy is gregarous and full of life -- the seasoned Eskie lover will adore him. Five years old, Happy, along with his three housemates, was caught in a haphazard backyard breeding operation in upstate Vermont, until neighbors complained to Animal Control about excessive barking and rampant humping. Happy's owners, Mom, Pop and three teenagers, were a bit loosy goosy about basic dog care...and sorely lacking in common sense.And, so, standout guy Happy and pals were dumped in the county shelter where they spent a few weeks in chaos. The pack joined our rescue yesterday and are all ready to retire to a life of leisure with folks who can provide the attention and discipline that they need.Happy is a real lover. He is good with other altered dogs and has a magnificent presence. He is extremely affectionate, brimming with self confidence. He has not had any formal obedience training, but is extremely smart and eager to please. Obedience training should be on his horizon in the future.Happy is completely vetted. He is a standard Eskie, weighing about 28 pounds. He is neutered, up to date on routine shots, has tested negative for heartworm/lyme/earlichia/anaplasmosis, and is currently on Heartguard and Frontline Plus.
